Why we made this book.
The Hanuman Chalisa is one of the most beloved devotional poems, recited by people across India, transcending language, region, and culture. It has become a true pan-Indian prayer that unites hearts in devotion.
For today's children growing up amid screens and constant digital stimulation, there is a growing need to bring them back to tactile, mindful, and creative forms of learning. Our goal is to make learning the Hanuman Chalisa a playful and calming experience, one that engages their hands, hearts, and minds.
We also believe it's important for children to connect with their mother tongue at an early age. When they trace and color the sacred verses of the Hanuman Chalisa in their native script, they not only learn the language but also develop a deeper connection to Dharma and our cultural roots.
Our first editions are available in Telugu (my mother tongue) and Hindi (the mother tongue of many). We plan to release more editions soon in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Oriya, Marathi, Gujarati, and other languages based on your requests and feedback.
We would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. Join our WhatsApp community or share feedback directly. This book grows with you.
Initially we thought of Dharmadoodle. Two important words in modern days that need rediscovery. Dharma guides us throughout life on following the path that is sustainable for the individual and society at large. Doodle is the most creative expression when we are bored, which is being replaced by mind‑numbing scrolling on screens.
Dharmadoodle is a little hard on the tongue, and the domain was not available. A simple inquiry led to Ram, who embodies Dharma fully throughout his life. Though he was an incarnation of Vishnu, Rama fulfilled all his duties to the fullest as a Son, as a Brother, as a Husband, and as a King, never wavering from the path of Dharma. That’s it. Ramdoodle came about.
